Meet Our Staff

I have been working with children for as long as I can remember. I started when I was in college, working with all ages, specifically infants and toddlers. As time went on, I was able to move into the Pre-K classroom as I finished my degree in Early Childhood Education and Development. I quickly became the lead Pre-K teacher and shortly after was Assistant Director of the center where I worked. Two years later, I was promoted to Center Director and began my lifelong career there! I was so blessed to have worked with some very reputable companies in the early childhood education field. These experiences taught me a lot about engagement, safety, building relationships, and, most importantly, providing the best environment possible for children. I love coming in every day, seeing all the smiling faces, and hearing their stories. Outside work, I spend all my time supporting my 3 boys, ages 15, 12, and 9, with their sports endeavors. I am always at a football field or basketball court. We participate in school sports, rec league sports, travel basketball, and flag football. We stay busy!!!!

I am a simple person who loves her family, friends, and bunny. I enjoy reading all genres, depending on my mood, and traveling to historic places. I’ve worked at Braddock Street for five years so far and have been in the childcare field for 12 years.

Married, 1 son, many step-children and step-grandchildren, 3 dogs, and 1 cat, and very active in my church. I have been in childcare for 24 years. Some of my hobbies are working on my family history and reading scriptures and inspirational books.

I enjoy working with children; I have worked with children for 25 years. I have worked for Winchester City Schools and Braddock Street Early Learning Center. I graduated from Hanley High School and attended the Laurel Ridge Community College.

My name is Michelle. I have worked in childcare for 22 years. I started in this field when I had my daughter, and I realized many centers lacked the quality of education I wanted for her. I love my job, and the difference we can make in helping these young ones develop into happy, well-balanced individuals.

Hi my name is Haillie Anderson and I’ve chosen childcare because I love spending time with the little ones in my own life. I want to spread my passions outside of caring for children, writing, and drawing with them so I can foster a community of passionate little ones ready to take on the world and express themselves.

I started in childcare in 2016. I made it my full-time career in 2018. I have experience in al age groups, but my passion is infants and toddlers. I’m also a mother to an amazing son. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and working on the farm. My hobbies also include reading, hiking, kayaking, and painting.

I have always wanted to be a teacher since I was young. I have been in education for almost 40 years as an early childhood educator (15 years) and a K-12 teacher. I have a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and have been at Braddock Street for 5 years. As a teacher, I enjoy partnering with families as their children learn and grow.

I have been in childcare for over 10 years and have been at Braddock Street Early Learning Center since 2018! I recently graduated (08/2024) from the University of Arizona Global Campus with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education Administration. 🎉 Since starting in the early childhood education field, I have learned so much about childhood development, creating partnerships with families, and creating a fun and exciting classroom environment where my students can grow and learn!

Following graduation from James Wood High School, I earned a bachelors degree in elementary education for Madison College. During a 15 year period as a first grade teacher for Frederick County Public Schools, I received a Masters in Education and Supervision from James Madison University. Those years of teaching followed by quite a few years of being a stay at her mother to my two sons, led me to becoming a substitute teacher and then lastly, a pre-K teacher at Braddock Street Early Learning Center. It is exciting to work with four and five-year-olds and their parents during the final year of preschool!

I am a childcare provider and love working with children of all ages. I have 20+ years of experience and also love to meet the families.
