I have always wanted to be a teacher since I was young. I have been in education for almost 40 years as an early childhood educator (15 years) and a K-12 teacher. I have a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and have been at Braddock Street for over 5 years. As a teacher, I enjoy partnering with families as their children learn and grow.

My name is Joan. I moved from Philadelphia to VA. I have been teaching for over 20 years, working with all age groups. I have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Working in Early Childcare brings me joy by seeing children accomplish something new.

7:15-7:45~ Drop off in Pioneers 2
7:45-8:30~ Choice Time/Arrival Activities (Potty/Diaper Time as Needed)
8:30-9:00~ AM Snack
9:00-10:00~ Group Time Activities (Potty/Diaper Time)
10:00-11:00~ Playground/Gym Time
11:00-11:30~ Circle Time, Music & Movement, Storytime (Potty/Diaper Time)
